About 92 Files

Introduction
92 Files was originally called Fargo Files becaused it mainly focused on Fargo (TI92) software, but then I got a TI92 Plus and I had to change the name if I also wanted a TI92 Plus section, so hence the name changed to 92 Files - as it's all about the TI92 calculator range and software for them.

92 Files is a site decicated to the TI92(II)/Plus calculator series. The site is 'split' into Fargo and TI92 Plus sections:

   - The Fargo section is only about Fargo II, we do not have any Fargo I programs or games.

   - The TI92 Plus section is only about assembly TI92 Plus programs/games, and in particular those for the Door OS
but there are also a couple of Plus shell programs in there somewhere...

I (try to) update every time a new game/program is released and then review/rate the program/game fairly.

For those not familiar with Fargo and the TI92(II) calculator series I suggest you go to the About Fargo section - here you will find a small introduction to Fargo and how it operates.

And for those not familiar with TI92 Plus, Doors OS and assembly programs can visit the About TI92 Plus section.

One of the main reasons for starting up this site was the fact that I was tired of browsing through the messy ticalc.org homepage, looking for new uploads.

The site started out back in 03/02/1998 and it has been online ever since, although there have been long delays in updates due to exams and new servers. Back in 1998 the site looked like this.

How and who?
92 Files (Fargo Files) was created, started and is maintained by Laze(Mikkel Skovgaard) - who is a member of a demo/programmer group called Janis Design Inc. - we are primarily into coding demos/programs for the Amiga ranges of computers and the TI92 calculator.

Laze has no programming experience at all and his only functions are as organizer, graphician and webmaster.

He originally created the Fargo Files on a Pentium Pro 180 equipped with 64 mb ram, 6.8 gb + 1.8 gb Quantum harddisks, Monster 3D, 3Com EtherlinkIII, ESS audiodrive 1688 and a Lasat Voice 33600.

Then he upgraded and now maintains 92 Files on a AMD K6-2 3Dnow! 333mhz equipped with 128 mb ram, 6.8 gb + 1.8 gb Quantum harddisks, Creative Labs Nvidia Riva TNT, 3Com EtherlinkIII, Sound Pro Onboard and a K56Flex Modem.

He uses Paint Shop Pro 5.0 Beta, Kai's Power Tools, Eye Candy, 3D Studio Max R2 for the gfx and Ultra Edit for the HTML code.

He also made a couple of programs for easy maintaining the the huge database of games/programs... click here for a screenshot of my database programs running.

The music was supplied by WinAMP and my 20 MP3 CDz.

Laze is currently studying for something called Digital Media and at the same time has a web design company, JeMi Web Design.
